Latest customer complaint received about BT Vision.

Let me vent…

It started just over a year ago we ordered BT Vision and got the infamous BT Vision Box. We quickly discovered that the on demand service was reluctant to work.

Movies would not play, Music videos stopped part way through, odd charges appeared and someone was apparently getting up in the night and downloading content. (I’m the only adult male in the house and despite my wife’s gentle leg pulling I still deny downloading the Tatu video).

A call to the “helpful” BT engineer revealed…. nothing, no that’s not a fault, your broadband line is fine your box is fine…. despite my protestations to the contrary that I couldn’t watch movies I was paying for.

The phone calls to BT became a weekly event. I would say it doesn’t work. BT would tell me it did or tell me that I had to wait for my broadband speed to settle down.

Finally I had enough and asked for the BT vision service to be canceled and for my money back at which point they lost all history of my persistent complaints. They then switched my landline off and canceled my broadband service.

They now won’t return calls when agreed but seem to think that crediting my canceled account with £15 is compensation.

  1. After ringing and ringing and being 'in a queue' to get my BT Vision working again I sent an email and asked them to ring me. The complaints dept said they could put me through to the dept I wanted, but…….I would have to wait in…..a……queue ! They dont get it do they ? I am leaving BT Vision and never returning.

BT VISION IS THE WORST CRAP,PIECE OF SHIT ONE CAN BUY,EVERY FUCKING DAY AT LEAST THREE TIMES A DAY BEING THE LEAST,THIS PIECE OF SHIT LAGS,I GO THRU THEIR ADVICE OF DISCONNECTING AND RECONNECTING ,CALLED IN MORE THAN TEN TIMES TO GET THE SAME SHIT ADVISE I BEEN TRYING FIOR THE PAST HOUR,MY BROADBAND SPEED IS VERY FAST WHICH THEY HAVE TOLD ME AS WELL,BUT THIS FUCKED UP SHIT IS SHIT,IT CANT WORK THRUOUT ONE DAY WITHOUT PACKING UP A COUPLE TIMES,U KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING IT IS TO TRY SEVEN OR EIGHT TIMES TRYING TO GET THIS SHIT TO WORK AT NIGHT,THEN I AM FORCED TO GO TO BED COS THE SHIT DONT WORK,IF U DONT HAVE BT,DONT PUT THEIR SHIT IN,NOT EVEN THEIR FONE LINE ,I AM TAKING MY SHIT OUT WHICH I GOT FROM BT,COS IT IS SHIT I CANT BE LYING,JUST BEING HONEST,THIS FUCKING SHIT IOS CRAP

  3. THERE IS NOT A WORD IN THE DICTIONARY THAT I CAN USE FOR THIS COMPANY I AM PRETTY SURE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE THERE WHO LIKES MY VOICE AS I HAVE TO CALL THEM EVERY COUPLE WEEKS. BULLSHIT TELECOM AS BEEN BILLING FOR SOME CRAP VISION SERVICE I DONT EVEN HAVE THEY EVEN SAID THEMSELVES BUT SENDING ME BILLS…….. I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AS THIS IS OVER A YEAR NOW I HAVE NO SERVICE DESPITE ME CONTACTING THEM AND THEM SENDING ME AN EMAIL TO SAY THERE IS NO SERVICE ….. IF YOU ALL CAN STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I KNOW THEY ARE ALL THE SAME BUT IF YOU WANT LESS STRESS STAY AWAY FROM BULLSHIT TELECOM.

I have just been reading the previous comments from the other extremely dissatisfied customers and sadly I am also one of them, I have put up with this rubbish for two years now and have decided the enough is enough. I am sick to talking to someone in India who clearly just has a fact sheet in front of him and knows very little else, "I don't blame him he's trying his best" and earning a crust over there however no help to me what so ever. I then get a phone call asking me "Is everything alright" Well sadly no, again I tell them but nothing is resolved. My son was trying to download a game which took three full days. I could rant and rave f ing and blinding but decided that I'll just go and get shafted by SKY ££££ but at least the TV and broadband will work. BT should be leading the way for god sake they are a major communications industry

  5. The only way I can explain this service is like having the best broadband in the world and using dial up to watch a 20 second you tube clip. Honestly is one of the most frustrating teeth grinding experiences of my life at lest for the extra 5 pounds a month with sky or virgin they come set up the service and ensure it works before charging you a dime. Well after receiving a box in the post that my 9 year old son could have thrown together at school and the hours of useless phone calls to their customer service team it still failed to work to a basic standard, I have now forked out over £100 to get a new Ariel installed next to my existing year old Ariel to see if this would improve the service sadly it has had no impact. Honestly do yourself a favour and go with sky or virgin. Wish I had done this and saved myself a lot of time fiddling with wires to watch 5 mins of Corrie and know it would have saved my husband his sanity in the long term!

    BT why you brought this to the consumer market I will never know shame on you I will be taking this to ofcom!
